Helvetica film premieres, raves begin

The Helvetica film (co-produced by Veer) premiered last night at the SXSW conference, and already the raves are rolling in from the blogosphere. Alissa at UnBeige says it "might be the best history of graphic design we've ever seen". Micah at Reel Distraction "couldn't have picked Helvetica out of a lineup, and is now seeing it everywhere." Big ups to director Gary Hustwit. Check the official screening dates for a venue near you.

I can't wait to see this! I heard the screening at SXSW was standing room and 250 people were turned away!

What an instant classic and perfect historical record for type designers the world over. Brilliant.

I caught the film at the SXSW premiere and loved it. Great work, and a complete pleasure to watch.
